1. New Employee Permissions - 'Can Edit My Account' and 'Can Edit My Approvers'
Two new employee permissions are available on the System > Security page.
The 'Can Edit My Account' employee permission allows you to control whether employees can edit their account information (email address, phone number, etc.).
The 'Can Edit My Approvers' employee permission allows you to control whether employees can change who approves their timesheets and leave requests.
2. New 'Manage Custom Reports' Page
If you are logged into Pacific Timesheet as an administrator (in particular, you have the 'Can manage system settings' permission) you will now be able to manage all custom reports, not just the ones you created.
This will allow administrators the ability to edit reports they did not create, as well as change the ownership.
In this way, if an employee has published a report, an administrator will be able to make changes to it even if that employee is not available.
You can access the 'Manage Custom Reports' page by clicking the tools menu in the upper right corner of the 'My Reports' or 'Published Reports' sections of the Reports page.
3. Scheduled Export Changes
When scheduled exports (System > General > Data Integration page) run, if a file with the same name as the new export file already exists then it will be renamed by appending ".bak" to it.
In this way one backup file is always maintained, in case you need to access the data again.
Scheduled exports can now optionally export the file using PGP encryption.
You can learn more by going to the System > General > Data Integration page and clicking the online help link.
