This page documents all new features, enhancements and bug fixes included in this release of Pacific Timesheet. For information on changes made in previous versions of Pacific Timesheet, please see the release notes archive.

New Features and Enhancements

1. Balance Cap Can Vary by Years Employed

Balance caps can now be specified based on the number of years employed, just like accrual rates, from the System > Policies page.

2. Multiple Export Configurations

You can now create two different export file configurations from the System > General > Data Integration page.

3. SurePayroll Support

You can now enabled a special SurePayroll export file format on the System > General > Data Integration page.

4. Employee Late Notices Can Now CC Approver

You can optionally have late timesheet notices sent to employees also CC their approver. This is configured from the System > Notices page.

5. Added "Submitted" Filter to Reports

You can now filter reports to show only "Submitted" or "Unsubmitted" hours.

6. New Time Entry Rule: Default Timesheet Period

There is a new time entry rule (System > Policies page) that allows you to default employee timesheets to the previous timesheet if it has not been submitted.

Fixes

7. Unauthenticated SMTP Server Support

A blank value is now correctly supported in the SMTP login name property on the System > General page. Previously, a blank value would be sent to the SMTP server for authentication, instead of skipping authentication.

7. Timesheet Due and Late Notices Now Sent in Employee's Time Zone

Email notices for due and late timesheets now use the employee's timezone when determining when to send out the notice. Prior to this, all late notices were sent out based on the system's time zone (System > General page).
