New Features and Enhancements

1. New Time Entry Rule: Automatic Meal Deduction

You can configure your employee policies to automatically deduct a specified number of minutes for meals. This is configured from the System > Policies > Time Entry Rules page. The online help topic for that page describes the feature in detail.

2. Employee Balance Activity Reports

Two new reports were added to show summary and detail information on balance changes: Employee Balance Activity and Employee Balance Details.

3. New Time Entry Option: Absence/Presence

In addition to Normal and Percent time entry, there is a new timesheet template advanced option: Absence/Presence time entry. With this option employees merely check which projects or pay codes they are working on, rather than entering hours. This is configured from the System > Templates page. The online help topic for that page describes the feature in detail.

4. Change to "Can Edit Own Punches" Permission

If the "Can Edit Own Punches" permission is not checked, then employees will no longer be able to delete their timesheet, nor any work rows that have non-zero hours.

Fixes

5. Print Report Issue

Fixed an issue in which clicking the Print button on the report page would not print the entire page in Internet Explorer.

6. Date Field Issue

Fixed an issue in which dates prior to 1970 could not be entered in Data and Date-Time custom fields.
