Pacific Timesheet Update

Version 6.38 Build 95, June 25, 2008

This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Pacific Timesheet 6.38 update. For information on changes made in previous versions of Pacific Timesheet, please see the release notes archive.

New Features

1. Auto-Import Directory

Self-hosted versions of the software now support a new auto-import directory option. You can designate a directory for auto-import, and any CSV files dropped into it will be automatically imported into Pacific Timesheet. Go to the System > General > Data Integration > Auto-Import Directory page, then click the Help link for more information.

2. New Option: Clip Exported Time Entries

There is a new option, Clip Exported Time Entries, on the System > General > System Options page. This option is useful if you are exporting time entries for time periods different than the timesheet period. You would want to check this option, for instance, if timesheets have weekly periods but you export to payroll semimonthly.

3. Leave Calendar on Employee Properties Page

If you are an administrator or manager you can now view an employee's leave calendar on their properties page (Employees tab).

Enhancements and Fixes

1. Scheduled Leave Deviation

The Scheduled Leave column in the Timesheets and Approvals tab is shown in red if the leave taken deviates from the amount scheduled by the employee. In this release any holiday time, though not generally requestable, is also included when computing scheduled leave. This avoids falsely coloring the Scheduled Leave column red when a holiday is taken.

2. Change Password Link Hidden When Using LDAP/Active Directory

The Change Password link on the Home tab is now hidden if you are using LDAP/Active Directory for authentication.
