This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Pacific Timesheet 6.31 update. For information on changes made in previous versions of Pacific Timesheet, please see the release notes archive.

1. Custom Timesheet Summary Reports.

You can create custom timesheet summary reports by clicking the "Create Custom Timesheet Report" link on the reports page. These custom reports allow you to summarize data with multiple groupings (for example Project, Task and Employee), and to optionally show subtotals for each grouping.

2. Variable Bill and Pay Rate Rules.

Bill and pay rates can now depend on any system object (for example Project, Pay Code or, the default, Employee). You can also specify an object for exception rates. For instance, your bill rates might primarily depend on the project, but you might specify exceptions to the project rate for particular employees.

3. Easier Timesheet Approval/Editing.

You can now edit timesheets directly from the Approvals tab, as well as approve timesheets directly from the Timesheets tab.

4. Importing/Exporting of Object Permissions.

Permissions on objects (Groups, Pay Codes, Projects, Tasks, etc.) can now be imported and exported, as well as set through web services. Please refer to the online help for details on the exchange format.

5. Importing/Exporting of Employee Timesheet Row Memory.

The "Timesheet Rows" employee property has been renamed to "Timesheet Memory". This property is now supported for importing and exporting, as well as web services. Please refer to the online help for details on the exchange format.

6. IP Address Auditing Fix.

The TCP/IP address is recorded in the audit message when someone attempts to log into the application. This now is displayed in the Login Report correctly, whether the login was successful or not.

7. Leave Request Changes.

Request can no longer be deleted by the employee if you are using multiple approval levels and the request has been partially approved. Also, requests that are partially approved are marked with the approved icon in the employee's Home page. This behavior is more in line with how timesheets behave when partially approved.

8. Copy Previous Rows Issue.

Copying a previous timesheet will now skip rows or time entries with inactive tasks, projects, etc.
