Pacific Timesheet Update

Version 6.0 Build 23, September 14, 2007

This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Pacific Timesheet 6.0 update. For information on changes made in previous versions of Pacific Timesheet, please see the release notes archive.

New Features

1. Project Dashboard.

The new Project Dashboard gives you direct feedback about the progress of your projects. You can track the task status, actual work vs. estimated work, and several other factors for each project. You can see the Project Dashboard from the Tasks > Projects page.

Enhancements and Fixes

2. Timesheet Changes.

Fixed a bug in which the notes on time entry details were being truncated at 255 characters. The limit is now 2000 characters.

When an employee deletes their timesheet, it is only logged to the audit log if the log level is set to High (DCAA). Any timesheets that are deleted by someone other than their owner are logged for both Standard and High levels.

3. Task Enhancements.

Tasks now have Estimated Work, Start Date and Finish Date properties. In addition, the Estimated Work properties are now entered in days rather than hours.

4. Import Fix.

Fixed a bug in which the Task Group field in a task import file was ignored.

5. New Hours Per Day Property.

You can specify the default number of work hours in a day on the System > General page. This value will be used whenever values are displayed as days instead of hours, such as the Estimated Work properties of Projects and Tasks.

6. Disclosure Triangles.

Many detail or property pages now have triangular icons that you can click on to show or hide the contents. This can significantly improve usability for large properties pages, such as when paging through employee balances.
