Pacific Timesheet Update

Version 5.91 Build 21, August 31, 2007

This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Pacific Timesheet 5.91 update. For information on changes made in previous versions of Pacific Timesheet, please see the release notes archive.

New Features

1. Employee Attendance Report.

The Employee Attendance Report allows you to quickly see who has or has not punched in. This report is relevant to those recording in and out times on their timesheets, for example employees with the Attendance Timesheet template.

2. Employee Details Report.

The Employee Details Report allows you to list details about employees, such as their employee ID, email address, reporting group, etc.

Enhancements and Fixes

3. Timesheet List Enhancements.

Timesheets listed on the Timesheets and Approval tabs show additional information. Timesheets with notes will display a note icon, and hovering your mouse over the icon will show the notes. Clicking this icon will take you directly to the timesheet, which is useful if the notes are lengthy. Hovering your mouse over submitted checkboxes will show who submitted the timesheet and at what time. Hovering your mouse over approved checkmarks will show who approved the timesheet and at what time.

In addition, when approving timesheets you can now choose to list timesheets just for employees for whom you are the primary or the backup approver.

4. Leave Request Enhancements.

When approving leave requests you can now choose to list requests just for employees for whom you are the primary or the backup approver. In addition you can now limit the list to a specific approval level if you are using multiple approval levels.

5. Approval Enhancements.

Employees with administrator roles now automatically can see all timesheets and leave requests. You do not need to assign administrators to employees as primary or backup approvers. Note that email notices will only be sent to primary approvers, so if you want the administrator to receive these notices you will still want to assign them to the employee as a primary approver.

6. Notice Enhancements.

When saving changes to notices you will no longer be allowed to have a blank subject or body.

7. Timesheet Enhancements.

The task chooser now shows only the work breakdown levels appropriate for the timesheet template. Previously the chooser would always show all enabled levels, regardless of whether they were added to the template. This means that now you can have some employees enter Projects, Activities and Tasks on their timesheets, while others enter just Tasks, for instance.
