1. Full Unicode Support.
Pacific Timesheet now supports the Unicode character set, which means characters from all languages can be
entered and displayed in the product. This applies to timesheet comments and notes, project and task names, etc.
2. New Security/Permissions Architecture.
Permissions are more fine-grained now. You can now assign employees/groups to any major object in the system,
including pay codes, projects, tasks, etc. This is especially useful for larger organizations where you want to limit
access based on divisions within the organization.
3. Multiple Time Periods.
Multiple time periods are now supported, including biweekly, semi-monthly and monthly. Each time period can
have its own starting day of the week (Sunday, Monday, etc.).
4. Employee First and Last Day.
Employees now have first and last day properties. Employees will be barred from entering time outside of this period,
even if their profile is still active.
