Time and Labor Management: How It Works

  1. Employees enter time and pay data through desktop browsers, web-based time clocks, IVR phone time cards, or mobile devices
  2. Policies and rules engine validates timesheet data and time off requests
  3. They then submit timesheets/time off requests to their managers for approval
  4. Validation rules ensure exempt employees account for 40 hours per week, or will not allow an employee to "go negative" on his vacation balance
  5. Supervisors approve/reject timesheets and time off requests with detailed comments, checking flags where approved time off does not match actual time off
  6. Approved time off is scheduled and automatically gets pushed onto future timesheets
