A SaaS Timesheet System That's YOURS!

What does customer-centric mean? It means your SaaS timesheet system is centered around your company, not ours. It means that the system is clearly marked as your company's system. There's also no confusion about who owns the system, the data or that the data will only be used by your company.

In a recent movie entitled "Limitless," Bradley Cooper plays a down-on-his-luck fiction writer who only sees the limits of his life. He is alone in a small New York City apartment. He talks to no one. Writes little and submits even less to his editor. He stumbles upon a pill and suddenly has 100% access to all memories and data in his brain upon command, his limits disappear and he becomes an amazingly rich successful man overnight.

Shift Differential Enhancements

Many union contracts and more complicated work rules require, in addition to shift differential rates or payment amounts, that workers are paid certain separate regular, overtime or double time rates for shift work. In addition, shift differential rules can require configurable definitions of which shift hours are included in these calculations, such as starting before a shift, during a shift, or the entire shift. Pacific Timesheet Time and Attendance software handles this support while providing seamless integration with more than 250 payrolls, accounting and ERP systems. Pacific Timesheet Time and Attendance software also supports an unlimited number of complex shifts, allowing different sets of shifts for different types of employees.

Jim Dickerson, VP of Operation stated, "Many of our customers require flexibility in shift differential software to support highly complex work and pay rules. Pacific Timesheet's highly configurable shift differential support allows for multiple shift rules, shift premiums and shift schedules."

Pacific Timesheet Time and Attendance software allows customers to track time and attendance and time off by job. With a variety of rules exceptions, such as including holidays in overtime calculations, for support for meal penalties and split shift differentials, Pacific Timesheet Time and Attendance software allow employers to track any kind of work rules and policies. Dickerson continued, "Pacific Timesheet's shift differential support provides the same ease of use and administration as our other enterprise class features. As well, our customers continue to work closely with us on our product road map to ensure the product continues to meet increasingly complex labor rules while retaining its core flexibility."

New Release of Pacific Timesheet

Pacific Timesheet 6.71 is now available and sports the following new features:

Partial Day Holiday Support- You can now create half-day and other partial day holidays.

Scheduled Hours Per Day- You can now specify the scheduled hours per day in the employee's profile (Employees tab). This allows you to override the Hours Per Day property on the System > General page on a per-employee basis. The hours per day property is used when putting leave requests and holidays on timesheets.

Request Conflict Warning- When employees submit leave requests, and managers approve them, a warning message will be displayed if the employee has previously submitted a request that falls in the same time period.

Pay Code Colors- You can now specify a color for each pay code. The pay code color is used when rendering leave and holidays on employee calendars (such as on the Home tab).

Leave Request Enhancements- You can now keep employees from submitting leave requests that overlap or conflict with other leave requests they may have already submitted. This is configured on the Schedule Rules page (System > Policies > Schedule Rules). You can now keep employees from entering partial day leave requests if you so desire. This is configured on the Time Entry Rules page (System > Policies > Time Entry Rules) by setting the minimum and maximum hours allowed to the same value for each appropriate pay code.

You can see all of the new features and other changes here:

www.pacifictimesheet.com/timesheet_support/pacific_timesheet_release_notes.htm

If you are using the online service, it will be updated to this version within a few weeks. If you are self-hosting Pacific Timesheet, you should receive an email with download instructions, or you can contact support@pacifictimesheet.com.
